I’m Terri Wilson, and I founded the idea of Doing HR Differently in June 2018 to empower people and accelerate business. At the time, I had left my last corporate role and was contemplating my next move. Several years ago, I had my own consulting business, and the idea of consulting again was intriguing and energizing.
I was also casually exploring full-time employment. When I accepted a full-time corporate position in November 2018, I put Doing HR Differently on hold.
I left that corporate position in August 2021 and officially launched Doing HR Differently LLC in January 2022! I’m now putting all the time and energy I put into building someone else’s business into mine.
Doing HR Differently focuses on three critical areas:

- Leadership Coaching
- Facilitating Collaboration
With 30+ years as an entrepreneur and corporate professional, I know HR can and must be a catalyst in an organization’s health, wealth, and growth. It must be a business driver, adaptive to changing business needs, and bring innovative solutions that deliver business results through people.
