Coaching FAQs

Why Think About Coaching?

Let’s be real—coaching isn’t just a buzzword. It’s a game-changer. But is it right for you or your organization? Let’s break it down.

As a company, does this sound familiar?

  • You’ve got new leaders who need development and direction.

  • One of your leaders is struggling and could use some support.

  • You’ve identified someone with potential and want to invest in them.

  • You’re thinking ahead and want to build up your future leaders.

  • Your business is growing fast, and you need everyone moving in the same direction.

  • Your leaders have attended leadership programs… but the needle hasn’t really moved.

  • You need your leaders to handle today’s challenges with confidence and clarity.

If you’re nodding along, coaching might be exactly what your team needs.

As an individual, are you feeling this?

  • Work is overwhelming, and you’re not sure how to navigate through it.

  • You’re doing well—but you’re ready for that next big leap.

  • You lead others and support everyone… but now you need someone to support you.

  • It’s time to focus on you—and you’re ready for a shift.

  • You feel stuck, unsure why things aren’t clicking, and you’re ready to dig deep and do the work.

If any of this resonates, you’re not alone. And coaching could be a powerful next step.

So, What Is Coaching?

At its core, coaching is a structured process that helps you reach your goals—with the help of a guide, a challenger, and a cheerleader (all in one). It’s not therapy, and it’s not training. It’s about working side-by-side to get clear, get moving, and get results.

Why Work With a Coach?

Because sometimes you need a safe space to figure things out, be vulnerable, and get real—without judgment or consequences. A coach gives you that space.

For organizations, coaching leads to better leaders. And better leaders create stronger teams. Stronger teams? They move your business forward faster.

How Is Coaching with Doing HR Differently… Different?

We don’t do cookie-cutter. No pre-packaged programs here.

We build unique, immersive, transformational coaching experiences that fit your needs—whether you’re an individual or a leadership team.

  • For Leadership Teams: We can blend leadership development with coaching to support growth as a unit.

  • For Individuals: We’ll design a one-of-a-kind experience around you and your goals.

Terri brings more than just business expertise. With over 18 years of experience as a lay counselor in large churches, she’s helped hundreds of people navigate real-life challenges—and that heart-centered, practical approach is at the core of our coaching work.

Who Pays for Coaching?

Sometimes the company does. Sometimes you do. Here’s the difference:

  • Company-funded coaching means your sessions are confidential, but some updates may be shared with the organization (like general progress or how they can support you).

  • Self-funded coaching keeps everything between you and your coach. You set the goals, and it’s 100% your journey.

Either way, the coaching itself? Same high level of support, care, and challenge.

Pro tip: Even if your company won’t cover it, don’t let that stop you. Investing in yourself is never a waste.

What Makes Coaching Work?

Accountability over excuses—plain and simple. You’ve got to be all in:
✔ Show up regularly
✔ Be honest
✔ Be open to feedback
✔ Do the work

Real change doesn’t happen overnight. We recommend a 3–6 month commitment, depending on your goals. If you’re looking for a quicker solution, we also offer a Fast Track option (4 sessions on a focused topic).

How Much Does Coaching Cost?

Coaching is an investment—in time, energy, and yes, money.
Our coaching packages range from $1,500 to $10,000, based on your goals and what kind of experience you’re looking for.

And honestly? The transformation that comes from the right coaching partnership? It’s priceless.

Not Sure Yet? We’ve Got You.

If you’re wondering, “What if it’s not a fit?”—we get it. That’s why we have honest conversations up front to help you decide. And yes, we do offer refunds if it turns out coaching isn’t the right move for you.
